What was the highlight of Playacapricho

Very pleasant stay.

The beds were large and comfortable. Choice of food at breakfast was fabulous. Would like to come back in summer and use the pool.

I didn't like the tiled headboard on the bed.

Very Good

Very nice location, large property by beach. Hotel staff were friendly & kind, we upgraded our room for a small fee at check-in, they sent a complimentary fruit platter & bottle of cava to our room! Large bath in centre of our room, over looking beach views, which was fun!

Hotel is a little dated. Needs some TLC. Breakfast was OK.

For one night fine. Pleased that we had not booked a longer stay.

Good large beds. Swift check-in. Parking garage. Good restaurant staff.

Room too warm, no air-conditioning. Food not inspiring, typical large hotel choices not particularly well prepared.

Beautiful hotel and we would stay here again

The property is spotless and bright. We loved all the plants and greenery. The rooms was spacious and the beds were super comfortable. The shower was excellent but the bath is a little deep to step into. Fabulous fluffy towels and good toiletries. The breakfast was excellent quality with a chef on hand to cook fried eggs, bacon and pancakes.

The walls must be very thin because we could hear the guests from both sides VERY loud. At times it got quite embarrassing. The hotel front is just off the main road, so it isn’t easy to find. We actually drove past three times without noticing the small sign. It would be better to have a large sign on the road side of the building.

Overall a good stay

Large clean room. Great sea view. Fantastic location on the promenade near bars and restaurants. Good night's sleep

App says you can book in at 12 but reception said it was 2pm check in so we had to wait 2 hours. Reception computers really slow! Took over 15 mins to check in. Can't imagine what it's like when it's busy. Bedroom furniture a but shabby eg scuffed chairs, cracked tiles.

Lovely hotel

The room was a good size, the view was fabulous. We went in February so lots of free parking. The beds and pillows were very comfortable

There was a dog in the next room which barked and scratched at the hotel room door for a full hour while the owner went for breakfast. A kettle in the room would have been good

What was the highlight of Playacapricho

We will probably book again for next year but hope that the WIFI is improved by then.

The food was excellent. All of the meals were varied and the choices very good. The Gala evening meal on the 24th December was superb. We have stayed at other hotels where the Gala night was more of a damp squib but the staff here pulled out all the stops for this night, thank you very much. The promenade goes on for miles and we enjoyed a daily walk as the weather was not too cold. We asked for a quiet room and were given a room on the top floor, the view was fantastic over the sea and we heard very little noise from outside of the room.

The room itself seemed a little tired and could have been bigger. The lack of English television channels was disappointing (only one UK channel and that was a news channel). The WIFI strength was very disappointing reading between 1.2 and 2.4 so was unable to stream all the UK holiday TV and our favourite programs.

It was ok. Weather not the best so didnt get to use facilities.

Facilities were good. A little restricted in places to eat. Pools lovely but weather didnt blige when we were there.

For the price and we had a car I did not expect to have to pay more for parking. We were lucky to get parking nearby but spaces were limited and we didnt want to use the hored car for two days because on our return we may not get parking on our return. For the cost of the hotel it could have done better!!

Once I’d paid the extra €64 to get a decent room everything was fine.

The room I finally ended up with was like the room I saw in the photographs when booking. Felt like I was unfairly charged extra on arrival for the room standard I saw advertised.

The fact that I was charged €64 to upgrade to the kind of room I had seen in the hotel photographs.

Good experience overall. Good and gentle service

The wifi (room at the end of the building -325-) was terrible. I was surprised they did not have my email and credit card upon arrival. Communication with Booking needs to improve. Neither did they have record of my special request. But they honored it when I mentioned the issue upon arrival. Buffet dinner on the expensive side

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel. Breakfast very good, such a range of food. Something for everyone. Room large and airy with small balcony. Free and good wifi.

Rooms are very dated. Needs a full upgrade. No walk-in shower. Wardrobe doors wouldn’t open. Decor very old fashioned.

Lovely location for last sunny and warm weekend of year

Room size was great plus balcony with sea view. Breakfast had everything anyone could wish for and more! Loved this hotel

Steep ramp to bar area. Not good for husband who uses a walker. Also over bath shower. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Not fully pet friendly.

Checking in, my wife stayed in the car while I checked in we kept trying to find out we had a walk in shower but neither booking. Com or the hotel would tell us so I needed to check for this first in the room by the time I had done this and collected my wife asked the male receptionist for a toilet as my wife was desperate he told us to use the room returning to the room the key card would not work trying time and time again without success my wife by this time was literally bursting and in great pain I started knocking on doors and luckily a man let my wife use the toilet in his room, probably 1 hour later after workmen came to our assistance we entered our room we found out later there was a toilet just round the corner from the check in desk that the Idiot that checked us in didn't tell my wife about he also told us we would have to eat out has we had a dog that after us paying for breakfast and evening meal wonderful, we had to leave our dog in the room crying has there was knowhere in the Hotel we could eat with the dog I understand and agree that dogs should not be allowed in the main restaurant but there should be somewhere even if outside where one can eat with their dog. Now complaint over the hotel itself was excellent the food was excellent and the hotels position was excellent you will probably know that we only spent two nights at the hotel and checked out this was by know means the fault of the hotels it was because both me and my wife felt ill with our own health complaints and needed to get home, apart from the fiasco at check in everything else was fine and we would use this hotel again.
